Canadian International Air Show Returns to Toronto

After being cancelled last year, the Canadian International Air Show returns to Toronto on September 4th and 5th! That’s great news for those that want to get out and enjoy the exciting event. Quite frankly, I really don’t know why the dunderheads at city hall, with all their wisdom, cancelled it last year. They have been closing down Lakeshore Boulevard, to cars, every weekend for over a year and there was no reason for them to cancel it last year.

Where To Watch the Canadian International Air Show

The Canadian International Air Show can be seen best at Ontario Place and the CNE Grounds. Other places include the Toronto Islands and pretty much anywhere along Lakeshore Boulevard West from Humber Bay to the Toronto Island Airport (Billy Bishop Airport). I usually go to photograph it at Ontario Place. I find it center stage for shooting the event. But I did shoot it once from the old Island airport and that may have been just as good or better. Enjoy!
